Wat Umongtherajan - PaPae Hot Spring - Local Market of Pai - Wat Hua Na - Wat Nam Hu - Mo Paeng Waterfall - Ta Pai Hot Spring -  Kong Lan - Mae Yen temple - Huay Nam Dang Hill - Mok Fa Waterfall - Wanasnan Local Market

Day1 : Chiang Mai & Pa Pae Hot spring      (Dinner)                    

Morning- Pick up and transfer from Chiang Mai airport to Wat Umongtherajan to pay your respect to the miraculously Buddha Image which the face could change into different felings ;  happy, peaceful, angry, meditative, etc. depending on directions of the light in vihara. Check this out and find the answer by yourself.

12.00 : Stop for lunch.

13.00 : Visit Pa Pae . There are 3-4 big hot springs and some small and scattering all over the area. Here water erupts from geysers in a small stream, creating clouds of stream in the woodland. Sometimes, the hot water erupts as high as 2 meters. The temperature of water is about 90-99 degrees Celsius.

16.00 : Check in at Ban Ton Mai or equivalent.

17.00 : Dinner at Nong Beer restaurant. After the meal, take a walk around town to experience some of the folk ways of the Shan, the native people of this town.

Day2 : Pai City Tour       (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

6.00 : Get up and visit a local market at Pai. Have breakfast by tasting Pai Congee ,  the most delicious dish in town. Then go on foot to see the temples around town, built in the mixing styles between Shan and Lanna Thai.

9.00 : Return to your hotel. Then head off to Wat Hua Na , located in a rice field. It is famous for very beautiful local arts.

10.00 : Visit Wat Nam Hu , where the ashes of Prince Supankunya are enshrined in the pagoda. Then pay your respects to the Buddha Image which has an empty head, but when its hair is opened and closed, water leaks from the head.

11.00 : Feel cool and fresh at the beautiful Mo Peang waterfall .

13.30 : Relax at Tha Pai Hot Spring , where the minerals are used for protecting and curing your skin. Then on to the iron bridge, built during World War II by Japanese troops stationed at Pai.  

16.00 : Visit Kong Lan or Pai Canyon . This one-hectare area has eroded deeply, forming a striking cliff.

 

17.00 : Be impressed with the sun set from Mae Yen temple  and the beauty of Pai’s scenery. Then enjoy your dinner with the tasty local dishes  -  chicken and beef soups.

 

19.00 : Return to your hotel. Evening free.

 

Day3 : Waterfall & Handicraft Village      (Breakfast, lunch)

 

 

 

5.00 : Get up and check out of the hotel. Then head off to feel the mist sea and to experience the beauty of the sun rising at Huay Nam Dang Hill.

 

 

11.30 : Lunch stop at Mok Fa waterfall .

13.30 : Relax at the Mok Fa water fall with its pleasant atmosphere.

15.00 : Drop by the handicraft village . Then, head for the Chiang Mai airport for your next destination.
