DTS E.13 Amphawa, City of Romance

Amphawa, a truly sophisticated escape located at the northwestern tip of the Bay of Bangkok. The beauty of nature, simply of the lifestyle of local people and the magic glitters of millions of fireflies amongst the mangroves attract all visitors to easily fall in love with this place.

Day 1 : Crocodile Farm & Rose Garden            (Lunch)

9.00 Pick up from your hotel.
10.00 Arrive at the Crocodile Farm . Enjoy watching the demonstration of how to catch the crocodile with bare hands.
12.00 Have lunch at the Rose Garden . Visit the Thai Village with Thai style house offering a display of Thai tradition such as monk’s ordination, Thai wedding ceremony, Thai boxing, folk art and Thai folk dance.
15.30 Stop by at Phra Pathom Pagoda, the world tallest pagoda with 127 meters. Then head off to Amphawa.
17.30 Check in at Baan Chom Deun resort or equivalent before taking a walk at the night floating market. Enjoy having dinner on your own. You can try tasty local food or cutie-look dessert at the market.
21.30 Back to your resort and take a rest.

Day 2 : Risky Market, Don Hoi Lot & Light flies boat trip       (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

9.00 Have breakfast at the resort and enjoy the scenery of Mae Klong river in the morning.
10.00 Pick up from your hotel. Head off to the Risky Market . Here visitors will be wonder since this fresh market is located on the railway! Sellers have to move things and flip tents every time the train runs through. Crazy, funny but real!
12.00 Have lunch at a local restaurant.
13.00 Visit Don Hoi Lod , a bar of warmshell area located at the mouth of the Mae Klong River. Take a boat trip to see animals in brackish water such as Fiddler Crab, Mudskipper and horseshoe crab.
15.00 Back to your hotel.
19.00 After dinner at a restaurant, take a boat trip along Mae Klong river at night to see light files  flash over trees on the bank of the peaceful river.
21.30 Back to your resort.

Day 3 : Floating Market       (Breakfast)

7.00  Pick up from your hotel. Depart for Damnoen Saduak floating market situated 110 km. west of Bangkok. Your journey commences with a leisurely drive through rice paddies and salt fields.
8.30 En route we visit farmhouse  along the way and watch locals produce sugar from coconut. The tour continues with a 30 minutes speedboat trip along fruit plantations to see Thai houses and the traditional way of life.
9.30 Arrive at Damnoen Saduak floating market . Here you will be fascinated by boats of various shapes and sizes used by local merchants to ferry their goods. You are able to hire small boat board along the market for shopping local products. (optional)
10.45 Depart to Bangkok.
11.45 Arrive at your hotel.
